According to the Canadian tracking # mines supposed to land on my doorstep December 9th. How accurate is that guys? If I remember correctly when I got my WR1 .94 it came sooner that what the estimated delivery date I got from the Canadian tracking # state’s. Anyone got any info from recent acquisitions?

It’s close to Christmas, so it will probably take longer to get through customs. That was my experience with the one I got in 2016. It was supposed to arrive for Christmas, but I didn’t get it until January.

For one drop earlier this year I selected DHL which was very fast, less than a week IIRC, but the next drop I scored on DHL was no longer available and James posted on his site suggesting UPS as a faster option for USA customers. I availed myself of that option and my order didn't arrive as fast as DHL, but it was pretty fast. I don't recall exactly how long.

You may recall my post upthread (#2348), where I posted a pic of my new WR2 that arrived a full week ahead of the expected delivery date indicated by the tracking info. I wouldn’t be surprised if yours arrived next week.

I have been eager to see what the basic brushed finish looks like more clearly, and today
a specimen showed up in BST with very clear photographs.

I have to say the difference between brushed basic/matte and brushed satin is quite visible, the latter
has a more lustrous and liquid finish that I greatly prefer. I would imagine it glides a little more smoothly
over the face as well.

The differences between basic and mirror polished do not appear to be so startling.

Anyone here have the basic brushed finish in stainless steel? Would you mind uploading a picture of it?

Stainless basic brushed pictures as requested.  I just sold this razor yesterday.  I also have the WR2 in basic brushed stainless.  Works for me.
