Wow, you submitted your Google doc order exactly one hour before me. If he’s going in order I must be coming up pretty soon.

Same here.....there appears to be many of us in this order time period (including orders 9/7 minus time zone difference)
I spent a little time comparing time zones and orders from various members both completed and still waiting, and it seams that pre 8pm 9/6 orders (Canada time) are completed and now Invoices have gone out covering the next hour or so post 8pm, what I call 'the magic hour' where word started to get around about the new google form and no doubt many orders were then placed at this time point (remember the frantic drops), it is feesable that after 8pm huge swathes of orders were placed-possibly more than all orders pre 8pm, and working through those orders will take some time.
I'm thinking that if it has taken exactly 6 weeks to complete pre 8pm orders then it could take at minimum another 6 weeks or more to fulfil the orders placed within the following hour after 8pm 9/6......just a theory....
I try to be as realistic as possible to help with the pain of waiting & the unknown...Wink

I must add:
On the flip side I think it very noble of James to only Invoice people when a quick delivery is possible, of course it would be possible to mass Invoice and have a longer wait time to receive a completed razor after payment.....

In order to solve "the which gap do I choose" struggle I shimmed my Timeless .95 polished DC OC / SB with the outgoing feather. If recall correctly, the consensus is the WM 1.15 is in the same neighborhood as the Timeless .95 and with the shim it is close to simulating the 1.25. Would this be a correct assumption? More blade feel for certain but not an issue going WTG and XTG. More efficient especially under the jaw which requires a bit of buffing. AGT was another story where it was rough around the chin, mouth and lips and had my first weeper on my chin in a long time. After quick rinse with cold water and the alum block I felt some mild to noticeable stinging. I attribute both to my need to refine my technique with a more aggressive set up.

Living on the edge
5 different gaps...two different heads...3 different finishes.
It's been a very fortunate experience to get to use a number of
these razors.

So its only fitting that my obsession with all things Wolfman ends today with the
delivery of the 1.55 in Ti. I haven't weighed this thing but it feels PERFECT in the
hand...great balance. Facefeel: I'm not sure I can describe the Ti as 'soft', the SS feels cold
while the Ti is neutral...maybe this manifests itself as 'soft'.

Machining is superb, with no pronounced 'scratches' under the top cap...none that bother me
any way.

PS. Comparing some data I roughly estimate that around 200 orders were completed
in a 6 month period. That makes around 400-450 a year.

Can I ask when you ordered Wolfman TI?

For me, the 1.55 SB Ti is among the top two razors in the world!
The other being the 1.45 SS.

Loaded up a 2nd use Wizzie, lathered with Felce Aromatica and went to work with the 1.55.
On a gnarly 3-day growth.

Top marks given for every parameter. This thing put a straight up, devastatingly smooth
BBS on my chin...my most troublesome area...without need for buffing.
I was expecting this so no surprises...what I really wanted to gauge were the differences
vis a vis the 1.45. The end results are quite similar although the journey feels a bit different.

While audio feedback from the SS1.45 sounds like a rasp, the 1.55 Ti purrs. While 1.45 is unbelievably
smooth, the Ti feels immaculately so. I'd say the key difference is that Ti delivers a ride that feels a bit
more refined.

I see enough of a difference between the two to justify having both.

This is what I'm also wondering?

I'll add one more thought....given what I've experienced with Ti firsthand,
I think it would make a great foil for the added blade feel on the WR1 head.
Just saying cos I don't see too many high gap WR1's in Ti....maybe someone
who has one can weigh in.

Great razor! A Wr2 Ti 155! congrats,

Was the recent Ti purchase a result of the recent google order system?

Hahahaha....I just came across this:

"Be careful reading too many reports on Wolfman razors. There seems to be a bunch of Cowboys out there trying to show just how macho they are by quoting the biggest numbers that they use for daily use and it would be easy to get caught up in their little game at your expense. You may use and need an aggressive razor but I’d recommend dropping your plate selection by one notch or maybe even two. From my experience with Wolfman there is a noticeable gap between plates."

It would be awesome if James ever released like a Aluminum tester set of different gaps. It could be like a pass around demo set. Never thought I would be a fan of such a large gap as 1.55 but in my opinion it might be his best haha.
