My last acquisition, the WR2 was the satin polished and it is beautiful. I have full mirror on others. I'll probably go full mirror on the next one. It's certainly more $, but no one polishes a razor like James. It is just exquisite.

I'm 70 years old and have a plethora of DEs, including Wolfman in .74, .86, .94, BBS-1, and WR2 1.25/1.15 DC. This 1.55 gave me the best shave of my life. My first WTG pass was really enough, but I did my routine ATG pass anyway ... that with a brand new Feather blade. If I get the invoice I'm going WR2 1.55 for sure.

*LOOT throws flag* No pic party foul.

Hopefully you can run it for some days in a row and let us know how she performs as a daily shaver.

Which wr1 do you like? I find the results to be about the same and the 1.05 to be smoother. No brainer right there.

I have the 61 OC. I have sensitive skin, so I use it on days when my skin needs a break (seems to happen every season change for some reason). I would like something a little more efficient in the WR2. I’m a 2 pass shaver and I like enough blade feel to know where the blade is. My daily razors are Charcoal Goods level 2 OC or SB, I prefer the OC, Carbon CX, Timeless 95 OC, and Wolfman WR1. I can use the Blackird SB for about 4 days in a row before I need something a little milder. I will be getting the OC in whichever gap I choose for the WR2.

I would go the 1.05 it’s way more efficient than the .61 ime. I own a 61 Sb and have to do 3 passes to equal 2 with the 1.05

Living on the edge
A little something for the hunters...and gatherers:

"Sept 19 2019

Scheduling is still being considered. The order form seems to be working well and email replies will start to be sent out for each order submitted.

Updates to appear here once available."

Received my second automated response today from filling out the Google form on the 6th but not an invoice. The first automated response was from Google forms...this one was from jdcncmachining. At least this means I’m in the que I guess but has anyone had two different types of automated responses before invoice?

Well that's a good sign. Does that show where you could change any options and make a different decision than your original choices?

I believe this is your number being called. At this point you would respond to either confirm your original order or request whatever modifications you desire.

I received my second automated response like you today.

Now thinking about what blade gap to order as I already have 1.15 and don't really love it.

Not Marcos, but pretty sure his email says the following like mine

"PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL.  You will be contacted again to confirm these details. (Changes can be made if needed)"
