I wanted to get some opinions from the group. I am trying to acquire a wr2. I currently have a brushed wr1 with a 2 and a 7. Here's my question. I'm trying to decide whether I should get brushed or polished for the new wr2. I like the maintenance of the brushed and the fact that it won't show scratches. However, since Wolfman is really known for the quality of its polished finish, maybe I should go that direction? What's everybody think about the maintenance of the polished versus the brushed? Generally, I like the Aesthetics of brushed better than polished but I don't want to be stupid. I don't want to order a hot dog at the burger restaurant, so to speak. Also, I was thinking about getting another WRH2 (hollow) but the WRH1 has my eye as well. I think that the 2 looks a little more refined then the 1.
What do you all think about the usability of those choices? I guess the grip on the 1 is better. When I first started thinking about what I would order, I was thinking it would be the 2 handle hollow version with the wr2 in brushed. Now I am wondering if that's the best plan. Can you all offer your thoughts on what might be the best plan? Thanks.

I ordered a wrh2 hollow polished 1.05 from his latest drop. I was debating as well. The brushed are nice and I believe a little more scratch resistant if they do get scratched you can't just polish the scratch like you can with a fully polished razor. On that note I'm anxiously awaiting the shipping notification!

I ordered a brushed 1.25 dual comb WR2 from the last drop with a WRH3 96mm hollow brushed handle. I have 3 brushed WR1 and both brushed versions of the Guerilla. I prefer brushed to polished but it’s really your choice. I think I will also try to get the WRH1 handle in the XL version which is 100mm instead of 90mm. I prefer longer handles.

I'm a shiny guy. I want all of that mirror polished beautiful bling. They are pretty easy to maintain. I've not scratched one yet. Knock on wood. A little scrubbing bubbles and a soft toothbrush with no pressure...they clean up good as new. Just keep them dry.

I prefer the WRH1 to the 2 because better grip. Like George, I prefer longer handles and you can make them heavy too. I have a 100mm H1 (massive), a few H3 handles (my previous favorite), and the new 7XL with the 7XL being the best imo. It's perfect in my hand and balance the WR2 perfectly.

Waiting for mine. Was very fortunate and ordered a polished WR2 DC 1.15 with WRH7 98mm.

Waiting for the polished WR2 DC to arrive. My skin doesn’t really agree with aggressive razors so I opted for the 1.05 blade gap on both ends (along with the XL hollow version of the WRH7 handle). My favorite razors are the Wolfman and BBS-1 razors that I currently own, I’m sure the WR2 will not disappoint:

Opinions of which WR2 Gap or Gaps to Order

My daily driver is a Timeless .68 SS with DC OC and SB which I enjoy very much. I also have the .95 DC with OC and Scallop base which is great for  2-3 days growth but too much for daily use as I shave almost everyday. The blades I use are Polsilver (most often) , Feather and on occasion -  Kai.  I do a 3 pass shave WTG, AGT and XTG and get a DFS and every so often a BBS. I use the OC for the first pass and the SB for the 2nd and 3rd pass. I would like the gap to be more efficient than the Timeless .68 DC and less aggressive then the Timeless .95 DC. Thinking of the SS DC with either 1.05 or 1.15 on the OC and .95 or 1.05 on the SB.  Thanks in advance for any insight.....
