I am skeptical on this "ever" claim. I respectfully call BS. Smile

The stand is very nice. I almost want to get mine out now.  The WHR7XL would look very great in there. I just have this metal-on-metal phobia with those razors.

I'm looking forward to your feedback on the 105.  After a few more shaves with the 95, I tend to agree with your WR1-67 comparison, my lowest is 74 and it's a tad shy IMO.  I may need to side-by-side those two very soon.   I'm thinking the WR2-105 will be close to a WR1-80.

I finally got shipping notice today for the WR2-125DC. I'm relatively certain mine was the last order from the most recent batch.  I suppose Mr DuFour may be ready to get more work.

Happy hunting men.

Wolfman WR2 1.05 gap

Large stand

I didn’t buy a handle this go around. Can’t wait for tomorrow! I’ll share thoughts tomorrow comparing to the first release .97 gap

A few quick thoughts... Just had my first shave with the WR2 1.25mm DC, and it was nothing short of amazing!

Comparing it to my WR1 .86 DC, I would say that the WR2 1.25 DC is smoother and more efficient.

The only thing that I will have to get used to is the larger head, it's not as nimble as a WR1 under my nose but few DEs are.

Overall, I'll have to try it for a few days to see how it handles as a daily driver, but first impressions were that this is an absolutely exceptional razor. [Image: aba52881628af93dcade32150c555728.jpg]

If it was just the wr2 head that would be one thing. It was the rocnel, the paradigm se, the 2 b6 declaration brushes and the soaps that arrived this week that made me sweat off purchases for a bit lol.

Now, I'm guessing you meant "swear," but with those purchases maybe "sweat" fits better? Wink

First shave with 1.05 and for me, I think it’s about perfect. I’ll likely end up trying to get a 1.15, but I’m almost certain I’ll come back to this as a daily driver. Still feels very smooth and mild on the face but efficiency feels like a .74 to me. Really really excited for this one

That looks SO Good, what a setup! Excited to hear that you got a smooth and efficient shave with the 1.05 Gap. Can’t wait to compare notes with the 1.15 Gap WR2.

That's exactly what I'm hoping to get. Glad you have such good praise for it.

Does anyone else believe that the WR2, including handles shipped with them, has a better/shinier finish on them than the WR1s?
