This is my thinking too....

Ive nailed down the efficiency monster: the 1.45SB

My existing 1.15 SB is very near to being the daily shaver but Im thinking I can push that to 1.25 SB

Those two would really be all I need.

So how did the 1.55 compare in smoothness to the RS 10? Which of all the razors on your list from my experience would be the smoothest with the Paradigm T1 11 coming in 2nd. I’m curious. Efficiency isn’t in question as we all know that would have to be the 1.55.

That is exactly how it ranks in terms of smoothness! RS-10, TI II, BBS-1, toss up between 1.15 and 1.55 for smoothness. But 1.55 achieves less irritation then the 1.15 due to needing less passes; so over all I rate it better then the 1.15 in smoothness and efficiency.

At this time if I had to rate my favorite razors it would be:
1. WR2 Titanium 1.55
2. BBS-1 / RS-10
3. WR2 Stainless Steel 1.15 DC
4. Stealth Slant V2
5. Rocnel Elite 2019 2.10MM
6. Paradigm SE
7. Paradigm TI II
8. OneBlade Genesis
9. RR Lupo
10. Rex Ambassador

If we are discussing the smoothest razor which is not a custom razor (ie Wolf 135 or above) or made in a limited number (ie Ti Raw Shaving) then without a doubt the RS10 is the hands down champion. It may not be the most efficient yet it still works very well and holds it own with those top 10-15. Remember smoothness and efficiency have many variables including skin oils, facial hydration, razor metal, geometry and likely factors we do not fully appreciate.

No surprises there as far as smoothness goes. RS 10 with what’s called the aggressive plate provides an incredible balance of both efficiency & smoothness and a step up from a Paradigm 17 4 which for me makes it the smoothest modern day razor. I was lucky enough to have had the pleasure of using a friends Ti version of the RS 10 ( 1 of 10 ) and that kicks the smoothness up even another notch making it the Smoothest razor I’ve ever shaved with.

Again no surprise on efficiency with the WR2 1.55 easily taking the top spot.

Thanks for posting up your results.
