I did not realize they removed the option to postpone orders, when did they implement this condition?

Proceed or Cancel are the current options when one’s name comes up from the waitlist.

I enter the waitlist on 12/11/22, no mail yet.

I’m deciding if proceeding or not.

Had a WR2 1.05 but didn’t love it. Maybe I didn’t give it the time needed.

I’m leaning towards the WR1 in lower gap like 0.54. How do you compare this lower gaps with actual razors?

For example, I’m getting perfect 24h growth shaves from Karve Overlander, Henson Medium… also getting very good shaves from my Carbon Cx-Ti .68, obviously with more blade feel but good results.

I have sensitive skin and normally shave daily with two passes (WTG-ATG). For days with 2 or more days growth I have a Blackbird Ti.

My lowest WR1 gap was .61 and it was much gentler than my Blackbird Ti. Although I have somewhat sensitive skin, I prefer more efficient razors and BB Ti is my benchmark of a daily driver.

Thanks you!

I’m going to try if I can handle the BBTi daily, but maybe it’s a bit too much for my skin. I love it, but need to test this. Same with my Vector Ti, I’m going to do some tests.

Of the razors you currently are using the BB Ti is the only one I have. Smooth shave, as is the steel BB.

The lowest gap Wolfman I had was the WRI SB & OC 0.61. Once I got a 0.74 I sold both of the lower gaps.

They were good, but not efficient enough for me. I've read of guys who like WR1 gaps in the 50s, even the 40s, but I've never tried them.

The 0.61 was his 'standard' gap in the WR1 before he began introducing the higher gaps IIRC.

True, OTOH, when my # came up last time Ti wasn't available, and I was satisfied with what I had in SS so I opted to postpone.

As soon as the new pricing was announced, and the Ti, bronze, and copper were going to be available I gambled and reinstated my order for a WR2 Ti.

If Ti hadn't become available I would have passed to this day.

Current order is bronze, and then I think I'm done.  Huh

You are mimicking my exact process. I must have emailed Tara every few months asking if the Ti was available as well as the WRH4 and that I would postpone again. The email that said only postpone until the end of January and then making the WRH4 handle available made me glad to jump before I no longer could.

Just a point of info .... the reason I said 'I gambled' ... the announcement said the prices were changed, and the other metal options would be ready in January, I ordered the Ti in September ? Whenever the announcement was made, hoping it would be accepted, and it was. Had it in my hot little hands on Nov 2nd  Wink

I’ve postponed also, when waiting for the new menu options to become available last year… It was nice to have that option. However, if the current waitlist has jumped from 4-5 months to 10-12 months, despite a significant price increase, one has to wonder if those are all serious buyers. I suspect some people jump on the waitlist just in case they decide to buy a razor in the future. They know it can be cancelled when their name comes up.
