10/12 months? How is it possible? I sign up on 11/13/2021 and I paid my bill on 04/18/2022, 6 months of waiting

More and more people are jumping on the waitlist and that pushes it the time frame back.

I guess there are quite a few people that have $350-$1,000 to spend on a safety razor during these times.

I remember when James was selling the WR1 for $175 shipped. Now it is 100% higher. The good part is he doesn't ask for pre pay . I refuse to pre pay weeks and months in advance.

I registered on 11/27/2021. I received second email on 4/19/2022. Around 5 months for now.
I don't think more people are coming. Mostly artisans get top interest when they just released new options..
He probably reduce the production volume to keep interest alive. Or he might get work out of wetshaving. Or focus on his shave brush handles...

Another possibility, he might have let the helper go. A perfectionist like James is hard to please. OTOH, with the price raise he's probably selling a lot more basic then premium finishes. So volume has increased ... or none of the above ....  Rolleyes

I wonder how many put their name on the waitlist only to bail when it comes time to pay up? Removing the option to Postpone was a wise move as it forces a decision… in other words, Cash talks and BS walks Wink

True, OTOH, when my # came up last time Ti wasn't available, and I was satisfied with what I had in SS so I opted to postpone.

As soon as the new pricing was announced, and the Ti, bronze, and copper were going to be available I gambled and reinstated my order for a WR2 Ti.

If Ti hadn't become available I would have passed to this day.

Current order is bronze, and then I think I'm done.  Huh
