Wolfman Scalloped Top Cap?

I am thinking about getting a scalloped top cap WR2. I am going to get an SB (closed comb) head. I am wondering whether or not to get a scalloped top cap and if I should get the wide version or the narrow version? The narrow version seems to match the indentations on the SB a little better, whereas the wide scallop seems to match the OC head a little better. What day ye?  Also, can anyone post a picture of the two variants on a WR2? Bonus points if it’s in antique bronze!  Thank you.

I just bought a Wolfie SB [copper] and contemplated scalloped. [As the Timeless scalloped is sweet] . But i didn't - I think the nimble narrow slim smooth head design is what I like about the Wolfie.

If you have a hankerin' for scalloped, get a Timeless too. I hate to admit it but the timeless shaves better for me. Heresy I know.... Ymmv!

I have owned and used a wr2 in both smooth and scalloped. Did not notice any difference. Both shaved great.

Maybe I could have done a side-by-side test but the heads were different gaps so would have been apples-to-oranges.

No difference here. This is my experience, but I really believe there is not.

Just like the Timeless Scalloped Cap, it is mainly (ONLY) for aesthetics.

In July, 2022, I got a WR!1-OC in Ti with a WIDE version Scalloped top cap. I chose Basic Polish and requested a higher polish on the higher/raised portion of the top cap, which James did do ... I think it looks FANTASTIC!! JAY

Looks nice especially with the polish more on the top surfaces.

I got the idea from someone who posted a similar version. The less polished parts (Like the Teeth), really make the polished part stand out, or 'POP" .... JAY
