Others may chime in as I haven't received my Wolfman yet so can't directly compare.
I do know that the Wolfman is 316L SS vs. 303 used for ATT. The 316 incorporates molybdenum and is more resistant to corrosion/pitting (it is "marine" grade but harder to machine). The standard blade gap of the Wolfman is essentially the R series of the ATT (.61mm vs. .58mm) but it is my understanding that the Wolfman does not incorporate as much "bow" in the blade.
You can and will also work directly with James at
WolfmanRazors during the process for any custom requests such as blade gap, materials, handle length, etc. vs. straight catalog ordering so it is more of a "one off", interactive process.
Wolfman complete razor cost as of July is $300 CA (around $225 USD currently).
I very much like my ATT kit, have had nothing but positive interaction with Stan, but also look forward to the Wolfman based on community praise and the fact that I do also like supporting craftsmen who support us. Plus I have a purchasing problem.
As to "that" much better, only the individual can assign value and make that call IMHO.
