Did someone find out that James is making bigger blade gaps than the ones he offers on the WR2?

I was just teasing LOOT since he found out about getting a .94 WR1 when .86 was the highest listed

You'll be better off and you'll have it in two days.... Smile

I already did. a minute after It said "Payment rejected" on the wolfman site, I went to the Timeless Site and Ordered:

Timeless 95 SB Polished
Timeless 68 OC Polished
Scalloped Cap Polished
with the Barberpole 85mm x 14mm Handle
Polished Stand

I'm so mad at wolfman, you can't imagine......But this will help me relieve the pain.

All roads lead to Wolfman this is just a slight detour... Anyway in all seriousness it's just insane right now and when most of the dedicated Wolfman followers have their razors in a few months acquiring one will be much easier (from sub 5 min window to around a 10 min window). I will say that when I acquired my first one I was pretty damn stoked. However, I was equally pist when I had one in my cart then after going through the paypal window found out it was sold out.

Wolfman is a love and hate relationship but the only way to succeed is to be patient and keep trying.

I have to chime in here. I have had great interactions with James. He’s a class act and I have a few Wolfman razors. I will be patient and get a WR2 soon. I know he prefers this method to a wait list because people used to sit on the wait list for over a year before their “number” came up. I also feel like he has really given us a treat with the WR2 in various blade gaps and different configurations. Keep in mind, the BBS-1 was offered in a solid bar and with one blade gap so for James to offer the same design configured slightly better is amazing to me. Be patient and eventually these will be more readily available. I know we all want what we want right now but I guarantee those that want one will eventually get one. Good luck and happy Shaving!

Guarantee? That will be interesting indeed. The thing with the current business model is even if you are lucky enough to get one, you may not be happy with the blade gap you selected and are left trying to trade for a different one. It would be nice to have the ability to own them all like Karve.

I don't want to be harsh, but if you are serious enough about shaving to invest more than $400 in a razor, you're technique should be good enough to make whatever minor adjustment is necessary given the selected blade gap.

Have you tried Wolfman Razors before?

If he could ever make an adjustable, then there would be no need for different blade gaps. Smile

Would love one but I don't have $400+ for one razor. However I'm happy with any one of my 100 or so razors with gaps ranging from zero to absurd.

A couple things

They’re not 400+ dollars.

If you’ve never used one, or better yet 2 of different gaps, how is it that you are fit to tell someone that their technique needs help if they can’t account for a gap change?
