Wolfman Open

I've managed to get three so far. So far I've gotten 2 randomly and one when someone posted on this forum that it was open.

Thanks Loot but I work 16 hour shifts and sometimes 24.  While 'on duty' no cell phone.  My unofficial schedule is 7 days a week.  I got two days off this year so far for sick leave.  
Diligence is tough after 3+ years.  But I have been doing it.  I check anytime.  Just to me seems many of the same individuals score one and on occasion I catch a first timer.  But most of them have only been looking a short time.  No old guys like me.
It's good to hear that it really is just luck of tapping into the site.
Today I am off so been looking but since James just opened last week not real hopeful.
At this stage I thought try something new.  I was really hoping someone had a way to contact James as my Mother and Brother are going through a rough patch with the fire evacuation taking place.  
But things will work out.  Maybe with luck James will read and open a list for long timers that have been unlucky.  Never know.
One member wrote me and said James replaced him on the list as it was his fourth time in a row.  So there is hope, but he did say that was the other month or two.
But really appreciate the support.
FYI I did try to send email to James but was returned. Hence why I thought of you guys.

I feel your pain man........I have been waiting since Sep 2015, I was even at the list when he suddenly changed to the new system. (and the list was canceled, thus leaving me without a Wolfman) This is the longest I have been trying to get any product, ever and still no luck.......... It is almost insane, maybe someday.

With due respect, with a work schedule like that, my concern for your physical health exceeds that of your inability to obtain a razor.

With that said, I'm curious my friend. Should you find yourself in the position of actually placing an order, what would you select?

Also, James updated his site recently. Maybe your email got lost in the confusion. Try another time to info@wolfmanrazors.com

I'm sure Mr. Dufour gets inundated with emails both on pending orders and requests for gear. Keep trying, without expectation of a reply. I'm sure ignoring emails is a part of his job description, it's to be expected. Diligence (while respecting his time) may pay off here too, my friend. There are guys who have bought razors in that exact manner.

Also, take advantage of the Want To Buy here on DFS. Place an add for that Grail razor there my friend. You won't know if that works if you until you try. Wolfman razors move on the For Sale section here too.

Yep. While I have not benefited directly, I have seen the post, texted friends, and they were able to order. DFS works in a bunch of ways.

With so many options available, I don't really feel sorry for the sob stories about not being able to land a Wolfman, go sign up to Charcoal Goods list or buy a Timeless or a Blackbird. With so many great options on the market, go support one of them. Wolfman's are great razors, and a work of art, James does a great job with them and I don't mean to belittle that but IMO there are better razors on the market than the WR1 that you can get now, personally I enjoy the Timeless .68 more so than the WR1 I had, Charcoal Goods Level 2 may be the best razor I've tried yet, still figuring out the Blackbird but the point is life's way too short to get your panties in a bunch over not being able to get one of the many great razors available.

I cannot agree more in one way and disagree in another: there are razors I like better(such as the charcoal goods lvl3 oc, Muhle r41, and the Merkur Futur) but I really feel for people who don't have a wolfman and can't get one. There is no way they know for sure that they like something else better without actually trying one.
I know though, that I want to keep all 3 Wolfman razors I have and try to get a WR2 with a 1.25 gap in OC

As of right now with a new razor head and offerings the Wolfman craze is at a peak (like a new Jordan release). It will die off in a few months and the amount of time the site will be open for will increase. It took me six months before being able to get one (at that point I think the buy window was open for 15-20 mins).

I honestly wish he would start a waitlist but when you are able to sell out razors each opening within no more than 20 mins since inception you can do what you want.

I’ve received mine as well, and expected delivery date is the 19th. Can’t wait to try the increased blade gap WR2!
