I have a WR1 in 0.70 open comb and it may be to much as it irritates my skin. The WR1 standard is fine. Do you recommend the WR2 1.05 or 1.15?

I couldn't decide last time, so I opened for the DC 1.15OC/1.05SB in stainless steel. I'm glad I did. I love that razor.

I went for DC 1.15 on both for today, but mainly due to needing to choose quickly. I'm wondering if I should have gone 1.25/1.15 for titanium.

You could always email James and request to change. The lighter weight will feel more mild on the face

Just read your edit. You might want 1.05 SB

From this thread is seems like the Wolfman's are available very infrequently. Is this just a hobby for James DuFour? I assume he has other more important/lucrative machining jobs.

I have always thought of that as well...... fotunately I was able to buy a used wolfman wr1 at a decent price (standard gap sb). And after 2 weeks of shaving with it, I realized most of the wolfman mystique its just the low availability factor. Shave-wise the timeless provides 3x smoother shaves and no irritation. I already sold back to the wolfman without any markup.

I might try an wr2 if I ever get an opportunity but now I will approach it as any other regular razor, because that’s exactly what is.
