Paying $$ for a Wolfman from Mr. James is just a little problem. The bigger issue is getting the chance to buy one directly .

I think Wolfmans flawless finish are well worth the extra $$$ compared to the others, there’s a big difference and that extra level of detail should come at a higher prices.

I can't argue with that.

Can you name another razor manufacturer who is able to do that?

These threads always devolve into over the top complaints about Wolfman prices. My apologies is that was not your intent.

The thing that amazes me is that there are other razors that cost more and nobody says anything about them. I think $340 for a Wolfie is a steal as James could charge more for it, but doesn't.

Posting Freak
I toured a machine shop last week.  They make mostly valves and related stuff for the oilfield as well as a specialty line of high performance go-kart/superkart and dirt bike engines (you have to have some fun right?).  It was a very interesting tour.  I was aware of CNC machines but I guess I had no idea of the diversity and how big they can be.  If James "the Wolfman" Dufour got himself a couple of these babies, his output might increase. Big Grin

From what Ive been lead to believe it's his hand polishing that takes the longest and adds significant time to the production.

Nor are there complaints of other artisans simply dropping inventory on a website without notice.

Yes, that Wolfman logo brings out the fangs.

Sometimes achieving world peace seems easier than buying it from his website.
