Please do. With only a mid aggressive model on available, your input could save me some $$$. If it's too mild, I would opt for a Ti WR1.

It's the above stated reasons that I simply do not CARE if I ever own one. Sorry Wolfman lovers, but my NOS 1941 Ranger Tech is just as beautiful and shaves just as well...maybe better.

And how can you know that, if you haven't tried one as you say? There could be a significant difference. Or not. The fact that you enjoy your shaves with your NOS, I guess if you use it it's not NOS anymore but rather in excellent condition, is another story.

How's this: "Formally" NOS. Better?
BTW, I don't have to shave with every single razor ever produced to recognize a BBS shave. There are NO differences between a BBS and a BBS last time I checked.
Unless a Wolfman takes off a subtile micro-layer of epidermis that I am unaware of, I'll stick with my original statement.
Lastly, you are not paying $500 for a better shave, just a more expensive razor. Sure it may be pretty, but better shave, gimme a break.
I must add something else. It's posts like the above that do our newer wet-shavers a disservice. Telling them that a Wolfman will give them the greatest shave they will ever get is not good advice. Let me be perfectly clear. I have NOTHING against Wolfman razors. NOTHING. They are beautiful, well-made and extremely expensive. So is a Rolls Royce, but to imply that one will do a better job than another is patently false.

So all razors shave the same? Got it.

- closeness (little or no stubble)
- face feel afterwards
- no nicks or rash
- enjoyment
- emotional (smiling after the shave)

Hopefully my Wolfman in transit will meet the above (and more)

Send an email to James at Wolfman and ask him. I figure with a fine polishing compound and some elbow grease you should be able to get it back where you want it.

I share your hope also as mine is in transit too. Delivery is scheduled for Oct. 12 to Florida so I have a long, impatient wait. ?

My first Wolfman was a standard gap (61) and although it was a beautiful razor I could not get an efficient shave from it. Luckily and with the help of friends I have been able to get Wolfmans in 86 and 94 gap. I find these give me a smooth, efficient, comfortable BBS shave that will last 8 to 12 hours easily. I never paid $500 for one, it usually, with the price increase, cost around $340. I enjoy using them as part of my rotation and they leave a smile on my face when I am done. I hope that you gentleman that ordered yours have the same experience. For those who have found pleasure and good results with other razors I am happy for you. There is no need to insult someone for which tool they prefer to shave with. My attitude has always been if you spend your hard earned money to buy anything, all that really matters is that you are happy.
