Last year I designed and had 2 custom brush handles machined out of stainless steel to mimic the WRH-7 handle, then sent then off for a final mirror polish.  Both the maker and the polishing shop did an awesome job.  Will post the info on both a bit later.  I plan to have all engraved by Otto Carter if he is still game to engrave another Wolfman for me.

I had 2 made but haven't decided which one to keep yet since they are slightly different.  It was the first time the machinist had attempted this sort of work on stainless steel.  No way to disappear the bottom cap weld entirely but you can hardly see it unless you look very closely.  I may let Otto decide if he can engrave over the weld line or if he needs to avoid it.  The set looks pretty darn good without engraving so I may leave them alone except for installing a nice knot into the handle.

I want to see your finished product please.

Have you given thought to whom you’re sending for knotting service? I’d love to see you use two different Artisans on the knotting.  That’s a cool project, I wish I knew how to engrave, I’d love to put a continual peony and hibiscus floral pattern on the one to the left!

I'll install the knot myself just not sure what type.  I may go with something conventional but I like them stiff and scratchy, fan style, like the old aluminum Rubberset #3 and #4, my go to brushes.

Check out Otto's work: Otto Carter  He engraved this Wolfman for me.  The brass brush handle belonged to my father so I sent it along too.

Man, I know it's already been said but I really struggle with that handle price.

Living on the edge
James has done an amazing job scaling up his business over the last year or so.
And he's corrected past injustices of second hand market sellers profiting from his hard work.
Of course there will be some misses along the way... and if he's interested, he will re-calibrate based on
market feedback.

I wouldn't buy one of these brush handles just for the name....in fact for the first time, I find myself with
no wolfman products in the den... and missing nothing in terms of razor/shave quality. I may consider a
Ti 1.35 at some time, but I find myself not as confident of this as I was 3 months ago.
