My issue was not the looks of the razor, I agree, it looked great. But like Mr. Protein, I'd never use it. I long got over having pretty things I don't use in the shaving world. Thas why they make chocolate and vanilla tho.
Most of the Razors going up in auction (Bronze, Brass, Copper ect..) or even a high polished Wolfie aren't really meant to be used daily if at all. These are all more collectable razors imo. If I wanted a daily driver I'd just get a regular polish Wolfman and call it a day.
I'm doing it wrong I guess, sorta. I don't shave daily but I do use my high polished razors, regularly. No issues with scratches if you take care of them, especially the SS. The only difference, to me, with bronze and brass is the patina. More maintenance to keep it off...and it drives me nuts. I wish I could let it just happen naturally by skipping the majority of the drying....but no, it's not in me. I get you about collectors. Different breed of gents there fo sho.
