My guess, based on art auctions attended - 3 hours to go, and no one is going to bid significantly who hasn't already got a marker in.  And the last 5 minutes will be a bloodbath.  But I could be wrong.
Big money will snipe. No doubt. Gonna be fun to watch.
No doubt my friend. If you guys look at the bidding history, it went from 1K to 1.5K in one jump. No little fishies here, I'm sure it will be a whale moving in on the snipe. Very exciting indeed.

I didn't get into Wolman until Jan '18. I have only seen Copper in photos on his website....and it is the one I always wanted. If it were, let's say, an 80SB, I would probably liquidate a lot of other Wolfies to have the copper. The gaps on this auction are not for me yet, even that probably won't stop me from bidding this one up. The handle alone makes this very appealing. Even with new offerings coming, I would bet copper won't be on the menu again.

If you really want it, you should really go for it.

Auction is over. Anyone know what it went for? Last I saw, it was $1800 with 2 hours left. The gaps are too low for me as well. I have had a couple standard gap WR1’s and have sold both. Favorite gap in WR1 is .86. Wonder if he is going to auction any WR2’s. I know there is a bronze or brass BBS-1 coming which I think will climb past the 3-4K price. That one should be very interesting to watch because it is definitely a one of a kind.

Not sure. We'll let the man speak for himself.

That wasn't me. I have only place one bid. So far, I am being a good boy. Smile

I was going to say 'that WAS James' and then put a smiley at the end of it....but my lawyers advised against it.
