Wizamet, spoiler, and other nos pricing

Hello, I've been on a nos blade kick lately. I picked up some personna 74's, polish polsilvers, and spoilers. I know I over paid for the 74's but the others I'm not sure about. I also received some gillette blue blades when my grandfather passed. My question is what is a fair price for these or other nos blades for that matter? They are all in the mail but can get more if I like them and will stock up if I'm not getting ripped off.

On average...a buck a blade is par for the course.

I had a huge stock of NOS blades that I bought years ago at good prices, but in the end I had to be honest that I was getting just as great a shave with modern Gillette DE blades (and in many cases better) and those are far more economical as well as have an infinite supply as opposed to the former. I made out like a bandit selling almost all the NOS however. Just my experience.

I have used quite a few vintage blades (p-74, spoilers, polish wizamet, schick Platinum etc.), while I found them to be good/great blades, none were really better for me than my regular use blades. So I have sold most of them.

The one I like most (and fortunately have a small collection of) is Wilkinson Sword Light Brigade. That's the only vintage blade that made me think it would be really great if I could use them for the rest of my life. But still, it is not anything magical - just a very good blade, just like so many readily available blades are.

I seem to get pretty good shaves from astra sp blades but I will say that the wizamets are real nice blades too.

I’ve purchased a few 250 blade count boxes of the Polsilver Wisamet blades off EBay for around $70. Probably the best blades I’ve used to date.

I recently got 200 Lodz Wizamets for 59 EUR
