That would be the most elegant in theory but not practical at least with some of the existing platforms. I recently acquired a Blackbird Ti Vector and the head is designed to be not much bigger than the AC blade it holds. It’s an elegant design and making it in an adjustable version would change that. You never know, though, what a creative designer might come up with.
The other issue, at least with AC blades and this was touched on above, is their relative rigidity compared to DE blades. DE adjustables generally rely on varying degrees of blade flexion to achieve the desired adjustment. That’s not possible with an AC blade or at least not practical. You would need an adjustment mechanism that would tip the entire blade. That might be achievable with Gem style blades. It might also be possible (even flexing) with the SE blades that resemble a DE blade cut in half. Given the long history of SE shaving I’m surprised it hasn’t been tried. This is of course, the que for a member to post some obscure vintage razor that does that.
