The scent that was revealed today on Facebook, Pasteur's Alchemy, would you consider this a citrus scent?


Pasteur's Alchemy - amber and woody with a touch of cannabis. Opens with fresh citrus with neroli, mandarin with rose absolute, orange blossom, rose. Amber with sandalwood, oud and vanilla rounds out the base.

It is a complex blend and citrusy would be one dimensional which the scent is not.

Pheromones are added to the after shave splash. Active ingredients from botanicals that are designed to increase the attractiveness of men by aiding in the synthesis of their own pheromones. Ingredients are plant based from black tea and makandi root.

The soap which will be in our Bufala base and the after shave splash will be offered for sale by Pasteur's at the Wet Shaving Expo on April 13 in NYC.

After April 13, the set will be offered on our site and at Pasteur's store in NYC. The product will be available on our site at 6 pm ET on April 13.

The new scents sound nice. Can anyone comment on the scent strength of Pasteur's Alchemy soap?

I received Wholly Kaw aftershave balm (unscented) this week and have used it on 3 different days. I also received MdC soap which I think has excellent shave performance, but is known to not have a moisturizing post shave like many artisans soaps. I used the WK balm after those shaves and I am very happy with this product.

I use one full pump (about a dime size or a little smaller) and apply to a damp face. It soaks in nicely and does not feel greasy or heavy...shortly after applying it doesn't feel like I have any 'product' on my face or that I shaved at all. Just normal face feel, which is a good thing. Thanks for making a nice balm, not to mention all other WK products.
