I like them both quite a bit, but the Italian Holiday, being very complementary (and similar) to my favorite frag Tuscan Leather by Tom Ford, takes the first place

This was a strong endorsement for Italian Holiday in my book, but then I read this:

Sad to hear this. As someone with relatively sensitive skin, if someone else has an experience like this, I’m likely to have the same… The scent sounds amazing, though.

my face is also rather sensitive - cinnamon and almond are being the heaviest irritators. However the Italian Holiday did not cause me any trouble.

I have Fougere Bouquet and King Of Oud, both are very good.

Maybe try the samples of these first? To me, the names of these sample dont equal the scent. MoT is chocolate and PL is cardamon.

I used the Bare Naked tallow donkey base extensively and while it is an amazing base with great skin properties I always found the slickness lacking somewhat. Every other aspect is indeed top notch and better than most other soaps I’ve tried.

When you can, try the bufala base. It’s a marked improvement in some metrics to the donkey milk and tallow base.

I went with my 2+ year old plain Jane Wholly Kaw Merchant of Tobacco today, and what a SUPERB choice!  High Praise...High Praise to this fine shave soap indeed!

This was one of those shaves that I did not want to end.  The spoiler blade was fresh, and in the Carbon Shaving Co razor it was like shaving with a laser beam!

Ok- I am a soap nut [150+ and counting].

For overall performance, variety, lathering ease, scent, scent strength, value and packaging : Wholly Kaw top 5! with SV, Eufros, Stirling, and Fine. MdC in the mix but scent strength and keep her out.

Monaco Royale is spectacular. My go to summer puck now.

Only puck don't love from the line is Leather.
