Thanks! I didn't realize the Superior Shave carried them.Nice selection but they are closed for a week. While I like the place, the website drives me crazy, it's so '80's but not without it's charms. Sharpening Supplies has some good prices. I might give them a try.

I like The Superior Shave, and I get my arkies from Dan's or Natural Whetstone. They're all good.

I've also used Aframestokyo in the past, and I've not been disappointed with his offerings. You do have to know what to look for in that case, though.

To me Ardennes coticule mining company provide an excellent pre and post customer service with Maurice or Ann-Katrien.

The shipping is not ridiculous for a stone and they hand pick the hone you're looking for.

I'm a happy returning customer.

I purchased my most favorite pre-finishers (Tam-O-Shanter, Coticule) and finishers (Thruis and purple La Lune) from eBay. BTW, there is one purple La Lune is listed there now for a reasonable price with a best offer option. Hope someone form this forum will snatch it!

I have always gotten high quality sharpening supplies for woodworking from Lee Valley. They have a great online selection, their prices are very good, and they ship quickly. The link below will take you directly to their sharpening supplies page.
