Hi everyone.

Pretty new here and wondering who you guys like to go to for custom brushes. I know plenty of guys do it (ww, dogwood, turn n shave, Viking) but curious who you like the most or think is most skillful. Particularly I’m wondering about purely acrylic (not hybrid with wood etc) and skillful is color/design.

Thanks!

Brad Sears is awfully hard to beat in my estimation. Classic styles. That Darn Rob pleases me too. Teton Shaves with his zen series stacked stone brushes also tickle my fancy.

[Image: 8IqwDzH.jpg]Plus one on Brad Sears!  Also, Bob Quinn @ eliterazor.com does great work in stone, wood, and resin/wood.  The brush above, from Bob Quinn, features a burl handle and a 28mm High Mt. White badger bulb knot.  Very soft and plush.  The brush below is from Rudy Vey.  It is a CH3 handle in Jade, featuring a 30mm finest badger bulb from Shavemac.  This CH3 brush is a lather beast.

Brett Mozingo all day. Custom handles and hand tied knots, he’s the one stop shop.

The middle one made by Rudy Vey the other two handles are made by Viking (Viking Soap). I sourced the knots somewhere else. Both of these artisans have made few other handles for me. Top-notch craftsmanship!

Personally, I’m a big fan of Turn N Shave. Milton is fantastic to work with and will make just about anything you want, not to mention provide regular updates.

I'm a big fan of many of the vendors mentioned. I'm also a big fan of Declaration knots. I've got a B4, B6 and B8, installed by Scott in a Dogwood handle and two ferrules for my Alpha 400. Hand-tied beauties, all.

Mervyn Cadman - Badger and Bowl. Loyal - my first custom brush, custom color to honor Prince and made a custom logo for me. Great service - have ordered a few brushes.

Wolf Whiskers could be called a custom brush maker and probably the best value in brushes. Long wait list.
