Have you tried Mystic Water Lilac, Mickey? I really like that for a lilac soap.
Yes I have a tub of it. It is excellent but to me its pleasant scent is not lilac.
I honestly think my problem is a malfunctioning nose.
I now have 4 lilac scented soaps, croaps, creams and after shave, none of which remind me of my childhood backyard with its rear border of purple, mauve and white lilacs.
Jimmy Durante said "The nose knows."
Not mine.
Perhaps a nose transplant?

Mickey, I also have Mystic Water Lilac and to me it was pretty close to the real thing until I got a tub of Catie's Bubbles Literal Lilac. This is more like a cream, very soft, but the scent is fantastic. It is some of the slickest soap I've ever used as well. It is a dead-on lilac scent to me. I think you should try it. As far as I know though it is a seasonal offering and will be available again in the spring/summer.
