I just got an email from CRSW saying they're having a Closeout Sale! Their exclamation point - then it goes on to say 50% of aftershave splashes and balms. Is CRSW close out or are they closing out splashes and balms? There's nothing on the website about it. Does anybody know anything about this?

I received that note as well and understood it to mean splashes and balms only but could be mistaken. Assumed they were updating formulas or scents, etc.

Ah, yes reading a promo email before sending would be a good idea. I looked all over the email and the website and there was no limiting language. I'm relieved because I was thinking, oh no not another artisan closing its doors! Its better to have a healthy vibrant artisan community

To me it looks like they are moving away from balms and splashes and focusing on their replenish and nourish offerings. For me it looks as if this brand is focusing solely on those with normal to dry skin. Neither of the newer post shave options appear to be good for my oily skin. The Oliva soap was also too moisturizing for me. Looks like there is one less brand tempting me to spend money. Wink

I believe that Larry is moving away from the splashes and balms and moving forward with different scents in the nourish format.

I think you have it backwards. You really should try their new lotions. I have the Citrus and it's much lighter than their balms.

Hello StormTrooper,

Lotions are lighter than the balms but are they alike moisterizing ?

I actually like this Idea by CRSW, mainly because I can actually get these shipped to the UK because they don't contain alcohol Smile

I was referring to how there are zero alcohol based options anymore which are perfect for oily skin like mine. I don't find myself using my non-alcohol based splashes very much either and that's all that this brand offers now.
