Stirling Soap Co. Peach Shave Soap.

I love the straightforward scent of a fresh ripe peach this soap imparts and with Stirling's expected excellent all-around performance, this was a great day starter. Smile

Gea (Jabonman/Eufros) ★★★★ cardamom, sandalwood, vanilla, amber

Gea smells a lot like Francis Kurkdjian's fragrance Le Mâle, wood and spice with an amber fizz. The cardamom brings some camphor with it, so there's a mote of bitterness in there. But after the last rinse, the scent dries down into sweet, smooth sandalwood and vanilla. It's very easy to wear, especially in the fall. I hope Manuel continues to render his homage to modern fragrances. I'd gladly snatch up his interpretation of Duchaufour's Timbuktu or Dzongka, or any of Andy Tauer's desert scents.

I made today's lather with two scoops of soap instead of one. The results were impressive: a much richer lather that kept the blade off my face very well and left my skin as soft as if it had been kneaded with butter.
