Hey Jeff, what'd you think of the soap scent and performance?

Kevin, the scent is wonderful if you like straight up honeysuckle and it has good strength too. I found it to be a very thirsty soap. It built a great looking lather and I had a decent shave with it, but it could've been better. I think my blade was on its way out though so that definitely had something to do with it. I'm going to try it again tomorrow with a fresh blade and see what happens. I will let you know.

You made me have a look, Gareth Smile Mason is new to me. They seemed a bit much, judging from the scent descriptions? Josephine, enticed me, though. How smokey is it?

"Fragrance notes of Wood, Smoke, Old Cabin in the Woods making you want to lay on a pile of Animal Skins. This is a nice smokey, woodsy fragrance."

PAA Honeysuckle again. kwsher, this shave was much better with a fresh blade so obviously that was what made yesterday's not as good. This soap lathers up easily and produced quite a bit with the small amount I put into my Captain's Choice bowl. While the performance was very good I still prefer the creamier lather of a tallow based soap. Although now that the weather is warm, I'm finding that I don't need the extra moisturizing properties as much.
