Matteo 9-11 Hard Soap (Abbate y La Mantia) orange & myrrh
Shave 1 ・ 81 g left ・ $35.00 / shave
In Boukiville a ‘week’ lasts for only 48 hours. I thought I could hang with Musashi for at least five days, but I’ve already pooped out. Nothing wrong with that soap. It’s fantastic. But the siren song of so many other soaps is too strong for me to ignore. And so I picked out Matteo this morning because I liked the colors of the label. And I like the smell – oranges and myrrh. The lather, though, was thin and grainy compared to yesterday’s soap, and it took a long time to come together. I wouldn’t have attempted a shave with a new blade, but my Kai Mild has ten shaves on it, so most of the bite has been tamed. What remains is a mild, efficient blade that gets the job done with only one pass.

You and me both! I don't think I ever lasted more than three shaves in a "week".
