There’s nothing quite like a relaxing day at home working in the yard, especially when it's topped off with a great shave. After trimming, mowing, and blowing all morning, I thought everything outside looked a lot tidier. The only thing that was still a mess was me. So I put down my yard tools and picked up a new razor to give myself a nice pruning. Everything came together perfectly for a close, comfortable shave with a nice scent to boot. Mammoth’s Alive soap continues to enchant with its creamy blend of herbs and oakmoss. The Amakuni single-edge razor, now on its second use, feels surprisingly agile for its weight. And the Kai Mild blade, stored all week in a waterproof lure box, remains sharp and rust-free. It all adds up to a perfect way to unwind after hours spent in the sun. Only one word of caution: tonight, I’ll have to be careful my head doesn’t slip off the pillow – my cheeks are that smooth.
