Alive may not have lavender, but it’s a great pick for Fougère Friday – or any day. Sweet yet balanced with a touch of spice from the labdanum, it’s light but rich, and especially nice with a hint of coolant.
Today was my first shave with the Tatara Amakuni. Ordered Tuesday, arrived Thursday – halfway around the world in three days! I love the rounded head, the magnets, and the easy blade placement. But at 81 grams of solid stainless steel, it’s heavier than I’d like for a single-edge razor – 15 to 20 grams lighter would be perfect.
