Tonight's shave was splendid.  IMO by now, the ETHOS and M&F products speak for themselves.  OTOH the Tatara Amakuni is a relative newcomer.  First of all, many thanks to my good friend Eric (aka MaineYooper) for loaning me his Tatara Amakuni razor.  I was very impressed with it, and will share my initial impressions in a bit more detail tomorrow, in the Amakuni Passaround Signup thread.
Wow, that's quite the setup. Beautiful brush!
Thank you very much Oasisdave.  It is yet another reminder that we live in an age of superb artisans.

Another excellent shave.  I am holding my remarks on the Amakuni to coordinate with brother DanLaw, whose efforts have brought us yet another Tatara passaround, and who wants to concentrate all Amakuni feedback in one thread in one thread.  Stay tuned.

I’m really looking forward to hearing what everyone (DanLaw, HighSpeed, and MaineYooper) has to say about the Tatara Amakuni razor. It looks tempting, so stylish, and the magnets sound cool. I just wonder if it's milder or more aggressive than the Vector Ti?

Nero, these Plisson synthetics are pretty good little brushes. Nothing makes a better lather than the old brushes made for L'Occitane, but the newer High Mountain White synths are a pleasure to use, especially when I make my lather in my palm. They may be a little prickly for lathering on my face.

I agree. I may be wrong but I think this was Will’s first major label redesign after their white label. The whole main lineup got their own unique contour line graphic treatment.
