It looks like you folks saved a few snowflakes for us, up here in Virginia.  They're only forecasting two more inches this time, but we've been pretty much in the freezer since the last one, and that one dumped a bunch.  OTOH we have a lot to be grateful for, including a stocked pantry and fridge, and <crosses fingers> the central and water heaters working fine, plus no electricity, internet, or cable outages.

HS, you are exactly right. Power, food, heat, and a pile of razors, brushes, and pux. Hope the power and pipes keep working.

January 1st started on a 3017 journey with AOS tallow Sandalwood. It takes a week or so to get these Valobra triple milled pucks fully hydrated and rolling. My favorite Sandalwood and top base. Long term vacuum sealing has done wonders on scent retention. Sandalwood is as strong as ever. 

I would have loved to have toured that factory in Genoa. 

Made into a warm lather with a Fine Accoutrements shave bowl and a black badger brush
