One of the finest soaps (for the price) I have ever used.

Taiga in the Omnibus base.  Great scent and stuff.  I chose this soap because I knew what to expect.  I’ve heard for years how Bic Chrome Platinum is nigh as sharp as feather and as I prefer sharp I want that statement to be correct.  With Russian blades gone and my beloved PermaSharp, PolSilver, Silver Blue, and Nacet becoming harder to find, and with Personna/Accutec being the only USA blade ….. and could stop production anytime, I really wanted to find a blade that’ll meet the needs of my old grey whiskers that need a sharp blade to cut.  Well, Bic ain’t it. Where it got the rep of a super sharp blade is a puzzle to me. Hey, it’s a razor blade and is sharp but it isn’t as sharp as feather or my beloved Lab Blue.  Perhaps tomorrow it will have sharpened up?  In the mean time I’ll stock up on comfort coated personna.
