Smells like oak, booze, and bananas. That’s a curious combination that should conjure up all sorts of exotic images, but to me the fragrance simply smells like wet house paint. It’s not unpleasant, as it reminds me of a new home, but it is undoubtedly odd. I'll keep this soap in short rotation in the hope of finding something beautiful in the scent. As for the lather, it's perfect. The mixture of beef tallow, duck fat, Shea butter, and kaolin works all kinds of healing magic on my tired skin.
