Why do I ever put this soap down? It’s perfect. An intriguing scent with hints of leather, florals, herbs, and aldehydes. Silky slick lather. Cushion that’s at least six miles deep. And it washes away clean. Asking for anything more would just be ugly greed.

But still I feel the need to fiddle with the products that don’t work as well. These great soaps get left on the shelf while I toy with the tricky ones. Doesn’t make sense. There must be some psychological explanation behind my retrograde actions, but after today’s great shave, I’d say going back to anything less than Mumtaz is just madness.
