Clay Face
Honolulu, Hawaii
The Socialite (Zingari Man) lime juniper
Shave 2 ・ 134 g

I really like this soap – it delivers a nice, cooling sensation. While it’s not as intense as Stirling’s Glacial soaps, it’s still cold enough to leave me tingling for a good thirty minutes. Since Koolada doesn’t have much of a scent, the soap's fragrance comes through clearly. Lime takes center stage for the first half hour, but once that fades, the juniper carries on steadily for the rest of the day.

I’ve been loading heavy, about 3.5 g per shave. The lather doesn’t explode, as you might expect from that much soap. Instead it comes out thick and silky but still remarkably light. I really like this soap.

Cocoa Tobacco: Mammoth Tobacconist Soap and Wholly Kaw Dulci Tobacco Cream

To my nose, the Mammoth Tobacconist splash shows both cocoa and nutty notes, and both of those are also residually present in the Spanish almonds container repurposed for an experimental portion of Tobacconist soap.  Razorock Puros and Stirling Gentleman also saw action.  Effective, pleasing mix.
