Possibly the best $12.00 puck of shave soap ever made.  Excellent fragrance too.

Why can't we have this?
Agreed!  Much better than the current Fine soft soap

Shave 35 ・ 41 g

This royal fougère eighty-eight months old, and it still smells great. It’s green, it’s woody, and it’s full of herbs. A very nice way to close the summer. With only forty-one grams left, I’m tempted to clean it up.

A week ago, following my doctor's advice, I drastically reduced my intake of dairy and saturated fats to lower my cholesterol – no more red meat, cheese, ghee, or chips ... just a wee pat of butter now and then. In their place I’ve been eating more apples, oranges, spinach, and pears. It’s too soon to know if this has affected my cholesterol, but remarkably it might be helping my shaves. The irritation that’s troubled me for years seems to be easing. I’m no expert, and it’s only been a week, but wouldn’t it be wonderful if a lower-fat diet led to healthier skin and smoother shaves?

I too have some of this left and ……. Excellent!  And if low fat makes shaving more enjoyable I doff my hat to you.  Fingers crossed

Glad this soap is better than the photo. I really like Gin and Tonic
