What soap/cream did you use today?

I had one of those Shick injectors with the dial back in the 70's. Very cool.  Made the DE guys look like Luddites.


  I wish that I still had it.  How does it shave?

The shave like a Schick, just great.

Salty Sea Sage (Meißner Tremonia) sage

I can smell the sage, but not the salt or the sea. After living on the beach for so long, I’ve become nose-blind to the scent of the ocean. It’s like walking into a bakery – the smell of fresh-baked bread is incredible, but after twenty minutes, your nose tunes it out. The best things in life don’t last long, because we so quickly lose the ability to fully enjoy them. A fragrant shave is a reminder to savor those fleeting joys before they slip away.

You are one lucky man to live by or on the beach. I always wanted to get this soap but never pulled the trigger. Thank you for all the stories and vivid descriptions Bouki. I really wish I could wordsmith as you do, it's a real talent and one I'm sure all of us here appreciate!

AION Mallard Coconut Fig off the tub smells like caramel and vanilla.  Where's the fig???  Well it's there just not what I expected based on the artwork.  I'm amazed how different the scent off the tub is so different from the lather. To me the fig in this soap is green, like the scent you get from the fig leaves.  I also read a comment by Mo where he said he likes his figs a bit green.  I'm still looking for the coconut and hoping I'll find it after more uses.  At this point though, this is not a scent that I can say I enjoy smelling.  I have plenty of soaps that started out this way and I ended up really liking the scent after some time so we'll see.

Tonka- another Aion GOAT contender

LPL - High Speed, I never liked the lather these pux made. Scents were ok,.... I tried to like them as they were getting a lot of love a few years back, but cushion and slickness was lacking. Do you get it dialed in? Tell us brother!
