Henri et Victoria – Navigateur (fresh, floral, melon, laundry musk, ozonic)
Sample, using a hefty dollop of perhaps three grams, which generated a meringue or Santa-beard lather. (Maybe the floodgates needed to be opened.) Worked, but doesn't feel as protective as most of my stable.
Scent strength: low-moderate, maybe four out of 10.
Scent character: as a test, made myself try to pick accords or notes before looking up descriptions, guessing fresh/ozonic accord, melon, faint rose, and white/laundry musk. From HeV: Top Notes- Citrus, Fruity, Bergamot; Middle Notes- Spice, Rose, Fresh Air; Bottom Notes- Woods, Lavender, Jasmine. Maggard lists Top Notes - Lemon, Ocean, Green; Middle Notes - Soft Floral, Lavender, Melon; Bottom Notes - Musk, Pine, Woody.
Pairing notions: Davidoff Cool Water, Alfred Sung Hei, Versace Pour Homme.

I need to get this down to 1/2 drop as the EO is very aromatic. Instead of vetiver with a hint of lemongrass, I ended up with lemongrass with a hint of vetiver. Not a bad combo, but I want the vetiver to be more dominate.(08-12-2024, 12:00 PM)AlphaFrank75 Wrote:Looks like you made your own upgraded version of Port-au-Prince.

Yes it is but not on the strong side it’s kinda like eucalyptus, peppermint, and spearmint.
It's crisp and clean, but so fresh that it won't linger and won't interfere with your cologne. Plus, the natural menthol in the essential oils gives it a lightly cooling sensation too!
If you've been looking for that traditional Italian barbershop scent but just can't put down the Barrister and Mann experience, Kalyptos is for you.
