Turtleship Bay Rum (Turtleship) peculiar bay rum
Shave 1
With notes of Pine-Sol, black powder, and nutmeg, this is not your typical bay rum. It’s clean and dirty at the same time, but it’s not overwhelming. In fact, it’s quite refreshing, and I could use it for days on end. That's why I'm finding it hard to explain why these Turtleship soaps always seem to sink to the bottom of my bin. Every time they resurface I wonder why I don’t use them more. Very nice lather, great cushion, and some curious but never off-putting scents.

It looks weird in the tub, especially when you scoop past the surface, but it smells interesting and performs well.
The night before I decided to give the Wilkinson Sword (Blue Bowl) soap another go after avoiding it for something like two years. Still difficult to get past the industrial scent, but it's back in the rotation, just before RazoRock's "xXx". If I ever finish off the WS I might take a gamble and try the black bowl version.
You never know. I used to hate dislike Proraso Green croap and decided to use twice as much of it just to get rid of it. Now I quite like it and the matching aftershave.
