My shaving streak has been broken. I don't think I've missed a day in at least three years, and I just missed two days (Friday and Saturday). Hopefully I'm back on track for another three years - or more.

Sunrise on LaSalle (Declaration Grooming) sunshine on flowers
Shave 2
On first sniff I picked up jasmine and a big slice of pear. Tasty indeed, but maybe a bit too sweet. Another whiff uncovered a touch of cedar and some geranium. There's the grounding I was hoping for. After working all these notes together into a lush lather, I had a fruity-floral blend designed to capture “the early morning hours of freshly cut flowers, with their dew-laden sweetness and vibrant freshness” at the LaSalle flower markets. It smelled wonderful, and even six hours after my shave, I still catch a hint of this perky fragrance whenever I brush my hand across my face.
swellcat, after a shave with Le Grand Chypre I usually reach for Guerlain's Mitsouko, but your mix of Le Grand Chypre and Terre d'Hermès sounds interesting. I'm ready to give it a try.
FaceScraper, I felt a dip in the continuum the last couple days. Sorry your streak came to an end. Let me be the first to utter the cry: "Three more years! Three more years!"
