Weinstrasse (Declaration Grooming) fougère Friday
Shave 5

The Edwin Jagger DE89 was my first double-edged razor, and it's still one of my favorites. Its chromed finish and low blade feel work well for me. The smooth chrome glides easily over my skin, while the blade is efficient yet gentle enough to clean up in one pass without causing a rash. This razor is great for beginners and experienced shavers alike. You can currently get a chrome Edwin Jagger DE89 for about $25 USD, or a short-handled version for $20, making this scraper an excellent part of a low-cost, high-value shaving kit.

Weinstrasse (German for 'wine street') is billed as a fougère, but honestly this soap smells like white grape juice. When I was a lad, I guzzled that stuff all summer long while working in the yard. Great boost to the blood sugar. I have to admit it's an odd scent for a shaving soap, but it brings back good memories.
