Dulci Tobacco (Wholly Kaw) sweet tobacco
Shave 1

I don't know what language "Dulci Tabacco" is, but I love the smell of this sweet brown soap and the shave it gives me. The scent lingers for a few hours, with hints of tobacco, molasses, leather, and cedar. The lather is slick, even when a bit pasty. I like this soft soap just as much as Wholly Kaw's Dulci Tobacco cream.

WK does a great job with scents one might not expect to work - this is by far the most appealing tobacco soap scent encountered. No stank of cheap cigars here. The more it breathes, the better it mellows too.

Hoosier, you are a lather magician. I could not get a good shave with the stuff. Tried 2 jars... Ended up as shower bars.... Liked the scents but i got foamy thin lathers. How did you do it? I am a slow hydrator... and can make toothpaste work but not the  MT or the LPL.  How how how? ?

Honestly, the MT lathers are not pretty Smile  I get the same foamy lather but it always ends up being slick and with good cushion.  For me, I don't use too much water with MT.  Usually go at it with a damp brush and, after about 20 swirls, add a few drops of water onto the puck.  Load for another 30 to 40 swirls and get a very foamy concoction.  At that point, I just face-paint for awhile trying to work out as much of the foam as i can.  After a few minutes of face-painting, I do like to dip about half the knot in sink water and proceed with the face-painting.  I'll use MT again in the next few days so I can get a pic of the lather...but later today, I have to try out The Trench which arrived yesterday Happy2

Ok, I feel better. We are getting the same results - free only delta is expectations and preferences. I don't care at all about cushion. And I really like the low profile slick okra snot straight razor style lathers. Thanks Hoosier.

Did you try distilled water?
No Danny. I used to hydrate with a jug but the wife killed it per bathroom aesthetics.?

Looks like it is supposed to be Italiano but they did not get the plurality correct.
