I’m keeping my lather on the thick side, just like bop does. You’d think it would be too stiff for a good shave, but I’m finding that even my mild razors pass through it like Moses.

Sorry, but I'm not really qualified to describe the scent because my nose really knows nothing.  Maybe HoosierShave could chime in here because I acquired it from him about 20 months ago...

I still have the splash and would describe it as a sweet smokey scent.  It's like some florals and woods were mixed in with the smoke and gives it that "sweet" scent.  But the smoke scent is definitely there and I would say front and center.  If you enjoy smokey scents, this is a must have (at least imo)
