What soap/cream did you use today?

Rosa TC (Ethos) damask roses

Ethos TC base (tallow cream) calls for even less water than its F base. No great surprise there. The result, though, is nearly the same: a soft, stiff lather that reminds me of whipped cream on the verge of becoming butter. The fragrance is a dewy damask rose surrounded by green and woody notes.

Today's razor, a 1959 Gillette Tech, is kind of a shabby thing. It's sixty-five years old, and it has the nicks to prove it. Still, it's one of my smoothest shavers, and never leaves me with a burn.
