What soap/cream did you use today?

These “Fields of Lavender” smell like a freshly cleaned public restroom. The floral scent is strong and industrial, with some bright lemony notes, but mostly it’s an overpowering, heavy lavender. I’m not too fond of it, which is why this soap has been sitting on the shelf for over a year. It may go back on the shelf for another year.

swellcat: You asked about what sort of fragrance goes well with Bernardo de Gálvez. The other day after my shave with that soap, I spritzed on some Knize Ten. It has an oily leather scent with strong floral notes that thankfully fade after about ten minutes. What remains is a smoky leather aroma that lasts all day. It may be a bit strong for this soap, but of all my leather frags, K10 is the tamest.
