Clay Face
Honolulu, Hawaii
Bergamotto di Calabria (Abbate y La Mantia) soapy citrus
Shave 13 ・ 64 g left

One thing’s for certain, aftershave and me don’t get along. I’ve been using toners, balms, and splashes for the last few days, partly for the imagined skin care, partly just to use them up. Everything went alright until this morning I woke up looking like a torched mess. Irritation was sprouting up in spots I’d never even touched with a razor (though I had doused those parts liberally with aftershave). I took my frustration out on this innocent tin of Bergamotto, scraping off three grams and building a thick lather. Great shave, though a little drying. But I'll just let my hide rehydrate on its own.

This soap absolutely needs to be bloomed and loaded heavily with a well soaked boar bristle brush-about 30-40 seconds before taking to the face for face lathering. I learned this the hard way.
