This soap is getting long in the tooth. When I first uncorked it many years ago, it was too strongly scented to use. I left it on top of a bookcase for a couple weeks to air out. The room smelled wonderful, like the spice market in North African souk. Gradually the fragrance mellowed, until now it’s just a warm spicy amber with a hint of spearmint. To boost that final note, I added four or five drops of liquid menthol to today’s lather. Very nice.
