Saponificio Varesino - Mirto di Sardegna (Beta 4.3)

First shave with Mirto. Adjusted my approach after my last shave with Felce Aromatica. I was able to press the soap in its plastic container to seal off the gaps, so I could give it a nice bloom, then went to town for a longer load. Much better performance, comfort and slickness. Did get a couple weepers, but that could be due to my also testing out a new razor, which has had rather lukewarm performance for me so far. I know I shouldn't test out more than one new variable at a time, but sometimes I just can't wait.

Scentwise, I simply get a very natural wood smell. As for the listed "lemon, lime, lavender, myrtle, tea, amber, sandalwood, white moss, and vetiver", I think a lot of those notes faded or sank deeper into the puck. However, I did notice that the box and interior wax paper did have some of these brighter notes mentioned... Just not the puck at the surface or the lather. Nice either way. Will see if that develops.
